Additional Course Requirements for Graduate Students in Cognitive Psychology
The requirements for a Ph.D. degree in Experimental Psychology with a specialization in Cognitive Psychology are to complete the requirements outlined for Experimental Psychology and to take two cognitive courses per year. Students are encouraged to be enrolled in or to attend the Cognitive Science Seminar each semester. This course is taught by faculty in the IIS on 'hot topics' in cognitive science. It is attended by both faculty and students in the Cognitive Area.
