Experimental: Child and Family Studies
The Child and Family Studies area (CFS) includes faculty and students from several department programs including child-clinical, developmental, and school psychology and represents all three of the department's PhD concentrations (Clinical, Experimental, and School). The common core of faculty research interests is a commitment to examining age-related changes in cognitive, emotional, and social functioning. Basic and applied research projects are conducted in a variety of settings including day care programs, homes, schools, and local community agencies. From this diversity, graduate students can construct individualized programs of study and be involved with a wide variety of research topics and populations.
