The Molecular Biopsychology Laboratory at The University of Memphis is seeking a postdoctoral associate starting 9/01/00. Research will investigate if spatial cognitive processing is degraded by ethanol-induced increases in neurosteriod levels in brain (see VanDoren et al., J. Neurosci., 20, 1982-1989, 2000).
Requirements include a Ph.D. in biopsychology or neuroscience, or an M.D. in a related field. Experience in behavioral pharmacology or in vivo electrophysiology is highly desirable. Stipend and benefits are excellent.
